We are recruiting a Part time Admissions Support Executive to join a leading school team, this role is based in the Dublin 2 area. This position will join a friendly team who are the first point of contact for all incoming families to the school.

We require a dynamic candidate with minimum of 5 years Office support experience, someone who can multitask with a positive attitude. Previous experience working in the Educational sector would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently responding to enquiries received via telephone, email and in-person
  • Provide information and advice to applicants on the Admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolement
  • Process and review student applications and work with the Head of Admissions to ensure applicants’ meet eligibility criteria, including checks on the documentation submitted
  • Undertake regular and timely follow-up to all enquiries, visits and applications to ensure a high level of service is provided at all times
  • Arrange interviews as appropriate and issue post-interview correspondence to applicants in relation to acceptance/non acceptance of applications
  • Issue correspondence for not accepted applications and respond effectively and sympathetically to all queries
  • Liaise with staff as required with regard to the smooth transition/induction of new students.
  • Contribute to the effective development of best practice in terms of the operation and delivery of service to prospective applicants in the admissions process;
  • Keep up to date with our key messages and ensure these are consistently communicated to potential or existing parents
  • Record and report accurate and timely information relating to Admissions Activity.
  • Develop relationships with prospective parents/students ensuring that word of mouth comments are positive
  • Positively represent the school at all times in all interactions
  • Provide focused and high quality customer care at all times.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Strong Customer Focus
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
  • Min 5 years experience in a customer support, admin role.
  • Previous experience working in the Educational sector would be an advantage
  • Ability to learn new systems (Salesforce is our CRM system)
  • This role can be completed over 3 working days or 5 mornings, rate : €18ph, 20-22.5hrs per week
