We have a new opportunity for a Part time Receptionist/Administrator to join a school in the South East Dublin area.

This is a part time permanent JOB SHARE role. Week on/ Week off or 3 days/ 2 days weeks rotating.

Hours are: 8.15am – 4.15pm Monday-Friday (week on). Salary approx. €20-25k.

Start date: Tuesday 6th August 2024.

Duties:

  • Front Desk Management – greet parents, visitors and students in a friendly and professional manner. Co-ordination of internal and external communication and correspondence (post, messages, email). Manage school correspondence with professionalism and confidentially.
  • Administration support- general school administration and office management duties. Provide admin support to the school leadership team, Teachers and staff as needed. Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings and school events including booking buses, venues, courses etc and making necessary arrangements for school trips, meetings, interviews, events etc. Prepare and distribute correspondence, notices, and newsletters to parents and guardians, update school website and social media platforms, Co-ordinate timetables, extra curricular activities and registers using online platforms, Creating various rotas, staff timetables and school calendar
  • Financial Administration back up including processing payments, receipts using systems such as easy payments
  • School Events Coordination- Assist in planning and coordinating school events. Arrange facilities and resources for events and ensure smooth execution
  • Health & Safety compliance- ensure compliance with health & safety regulations within the school premises. Maintain emergency contact information and procedures, assist in coordinating first aid supplies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Positive outlook and willingness to contribute to overall school development and commitment to uphold the ethos of the school
  • Relates well to children
  • Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft office, social media platforms and database management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of the Irish Education system and regulations preferred
