Part-time Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator required
We are recruiting for a Part-time Bookkeeper / Office Administrator for the Dublin 12 area.
The suitable person will be organised, task-orientated and have an eye for detail.
The role requires approx. 20 hours per week but is flexible in terms of days and hours etc.
You will be working closely with the company directors and company Accountant to produce monthly reports on cashflow, profit & loss projections and quarterly management accounts. Day to day accounts also required on Xero and payroll for c 25 people using bright pay.

The tasks include
- Preparation of bookkeeping records including sales, purchases and bank transactions
- Accurate processing and coding of invoices
- Processing of staff expenses
- Creditors/Debtors/Bank Reconciliations
- Preparing and submission of VAT returns
- PAYE reconciliations
- Preparing and posting month end journals
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance
- Processing payroll
- Familiarity with Xero and Bright pay would be an advantage
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate:
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in a general account’s role
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Knowledge of the Irish tax system
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to and manage deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership on the role
- Excellent organisational and communications skills essential
- Rate : €22-23ph
