We are recruiting an International Trade Administrator to join a small team, working for our client, a Manufacturing & Distribution company based in the Dublin 18 area.

Duties will be varied and will include the below:

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with customers to take bulk orders/ liaising with overseas agents
  • Producing costings/ quotations/Invoices
  • Liaising with Factories in China in relation to pricing, lead times, costings and shipping
  • Opening new Import files.
  • Liaising with Revenue on tariff codes.
  • Receiving and processing Import documentation
  • Import Customs Clearances procedures .
  • Arranging delivery of freight to its destination
  • Tracking and tracing freight and updating the freight status to our clients.
  • Customs tariffs
  • Checking Stock, raining invoices and orders
  • Inputting invoices to client portals
  • General Admin duties

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous shipping, sales support, logistics experience is preferred
  • Min 2 years previous administration experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team player who can also work on their own initiative when required.
  • IT skills in Microsoft office.
  • Logistics/ Forwarding/Customs clearance background /Experience preferred
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency speaking Mandarin is preferable to deal with factories in China.
  • Starting salary: €35k
  • Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, 30m lunch. on site.
