We are recruiting a GRADE IV Hr Administrator to join a Hospital in the Dunlaoghaire area.

This job will be week to week starting within 10 days -2 weeks.

Hours 9am-5pm Monday – Friday. Starting rate : €34260 unless the candidate has relevant grade experience.

Role Summary:

The person appointed will be responsible for the provision of administration support to the Human Resources Department in a professional, efficient and friendly manner.

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

  • Be educated to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
  • Have undertaken or be willing to undertake further third level studies relevant to the post.
  • Previous experience of working in a HR department is desirable.

  • Previous experience in a HR capacity.
  • Have experience of work practices in the Health Services.

  • Be fully competent in MS Office products.

Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:

The provision of an efficient, confidential and accurate HR Administration service as follows:

  • Maintain and ensure efficient data entry of all relevant personnel records on the Human Resources Information System and assist in the ongoing development of the system.
  • Ensure that correct starters, leavers and employment change data is produced for each payroll process.
  • Maintain and ensure efficient systems for administrative records and personnel files.
  • Develop and produce regular reports from the HR database system.
  • Assist with medical manpower administration (NCHDs and Consultants).
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection and pre-employment process.
  • General HR administration and related duties.
  • Undertake other projects and duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned to you from time to time.
  • The post holder is accountable, responsible and has authority for delivering a quality service and ensuring patient safety.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 27 days per annum pro- rata.

Requirements:

  • Previous healthcare experience working with the HSE would be beneficial
  • Min 1-2 years Hr experience
  • Ideally a hr qualification or studying towards
  • Candidates must be available within 10-14 days
